Managing a business with a remote workforce (lots of zoom calls, being flexible with kids home, keeping clients businesses first when they need it most.)

Working from home is a new reality for many people, and it's something that we're all getting used to, even here at Legnd. We’re learning how important it is to manage our workflows more efficiently while still providing the flexibility that the team needs during this time of upheaval. In our recent experience, we’ve found that adaptability is remarkably important!

Zoom, kids, and daily check-ins

Raise your hand if you're completely rethinking your home office set-up now that Zoom is a major part of your daily life? Here at Legnd, we've been using Zoom like crazy; we find that it helps to preserve team cohesion, and keeps anyone from getting too lonely. It's also got us a little jealous of some of our co-workers' awesome decor! Tech integration is a great way to keep your remote workforce on track even in this environment of uncertainty, and it’s incredibly useful for staying in touch with clients too.

And, with the entire family at home, it's important to remember that everyone will have a lot of different obligations competing for their time. We’ve found that it’s helpful to not be too strict with schedules, but we do set realistic project deadlines and have set up daily check-ins so that we all stay on the same page.

We'll get through this, but let's be real, we're going to face a number of challenges along the way. Keeping up team morale is going to be tough, and there are going to be some days that are more productive than others.

It’s important for us all to remember that client needs still come first, as we work to ensure that they are getting the top-quality results they expect. Our work becomes even more important as we strive to help clients realize strong results when they need them most.

All in all, the end product is what's most important. Focusing on work product and final results can help to minimize distractions while also supporting our clients and team during this difficult time. Legnd is here to help throughout it all!
