Digital marketing often feels like balancing a bunch of spinning plates overhead- you are able to keep everything from crashing down around you, as long as you keep moving a mile a minute.

Let's make 2020 the year that you finally have a plan in place and are able to boost efficiency while keeping chaos as reigned in as possible.

We find that without a plan it's difficult to get where we want to go without a lot of stops, starts, and missteps. Try these tips on for size, and soon you will move from ideation to action!

Three tips to get 2020 started on a strong footing:

  • Turn to inbound - inbound marketing is less expensive and usually a lot more effective than its traditional counterpart. Attracting the right people to your site in a targeted manner makes a lot more sense than a scattershot approach, even if the latter casts a much wider net.
  • Automate, automate, automate - with fixed outreach templates that are poised to launch when a potential client makes a trigger action, there's no reason why you shouldn't take advantage of this seamless strategy. It's an effective way to keep in front of both current and potential clients. From instant email responses to regularly scheduled self-posting Social Media posts, the more tasks that you can automate, the better.
  • Perform a top to bottom assessment - now is a great time to analyze your current content and look for areas that can be improved and tightened up. Assess with an eye to maximizing what works well and use that knowledge to fine-tune your future content. There's no need to cry over spilled milk or past ineffective marketing.

This is just a quick overview of some of the tools that we find provide amazing results for companies of all sizes and across most industries. The importance of having a concrete and manageable marketing plan in place, even if it is fluid and constantly changing, cannot be overstated.
